Established & Sons

Established & Sons is a British furniture and lighting brand founded in London in 2005. It has become one of the leading voices of contemporary British design.

The founders

It was founded by five people: the entrepreneur Angad Paul, who became its chairman; the designers Sebastian Wrong and Mark Holmes; Alasdhair Willis, former publisher of Wallpaper* magazine, its chief executive until 2010; and the marketing specialist Tamara Caspersz. Wrong, who had studied sculpture and founded his own manufacturing company, left the brand in the early 2010s.

After 2015

After Angad Paul's death in 2015, Established & Sons was bought by overseas investors in 2016. Sebastian Wrong later returned as design director. The brand has worked with more than fifty designers, including Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, Konstantin Grcic, Jasper Morrison and Amanda Levete, on nearly two hundred products; among the best known is the Wrongwoods series.
