Desalto

Desalto is an Italian metal furniture company based in Cantù, in Brianza. The brand was born in 1990, when the four Orsenigo brothers created it from their family's metalworking business.

Metal

One of the first products was the Tender of 1990, the company's first extendable table, which marked the move from craft workshop to the international market. Metal remains at the heart of production: Desalto has its own galvanising department, where it creates exclusive finishes.

The Compasso d'Oro

In 2014 the Venticinque table, designed by Bruno Fattorini's studio (Fattorini + Rizzini + Partners), won the Compasso d'Oro. Since 2022 the art director has been the designer Francesco Rota, who has brought the brand back towards the metal of its origins.
